When creating content for Dungeons and Dragons for the players, and for their viewers, it can be difficult to truly convey the world you are seeing depending on the way every brain processes information differently. To help facilitate the vision our Dungeon Master had we developed a full workflow to produce imagery true to his ideas.
For this project I primarily used ComfyAI with an extended LoRa database that helped us drive meaningful content for my client. We used the model to drive world building visualizations, character development, and impactful storytelling.
As the story progressed, our viewers stated how much they loved being able to see what the DM had meant when describing the world he presented to them. At the beginning of each episode it helped convey the story they would hear in that session, giving us better retention.
The project was fluid and required that I was able to pivot quickly, as the players would make different choices during the story.
Utilizing our workflow within the ComfyAI model and pulling from my knowledge in the space it was a powerful collaboration with the Roll 2 Role team to execute the creatives they wanted for the project.
Because of the workflow and database design we were able to keep our visuals consistent with the story and world setting that we had grown.
While working with their DM I helped him understand the importance of how we drove the story visually. Instead of showing a portrait of a creature we could place it into a scene, this helped their viewers feel more like they were in the world he had created.
As the campaign wrapped up I received thanks from not only the DM and "the party" (the players that were involved in the campaign) but the viewers themselves. Because of my work with them I'm driving the visual development for their next campaign, now set in space.
